The BSc Creative Robotics program offers a dynamic fusion of robotics and artistic exploration within a prestigious creative university environment. This curriculum blends machine intelligence, hardware programming, and robotic systems while emphasizing innovative applications and thoughtful examination of robotics' societal implications.
Students develop modern, practical robotics expertise, including programming in Python and C, along with leading open-source platforms like ROS, MoveIt, and Unity.
The program encourages reimagining robots' societal roles while teaching the creation of artistic robotic systems - from musical instruments to kinetic sculptures. Participants master mechanical, electronic, and computational principles to develop diverse robotic forms, including soft robotics, unconventional designs, and evolutionary systems. The course also investigates how philosophical thought, cognitive studies, and critical theory shape robotic embodiment and artificial cognition.
