Alongside Computing, the PGCE Secondary qualification with QTS is offered in various subjects including Art and Design, Biology (Sciences), English, Geography, History, Mathematics, and Physical Education. Throughout your journey, you'll receive guidance from seasoned experts during school placements and from university faculty members. This program is designed to cultivate skilled, inspiring educators for students aged 11–16, while also preparing you to potentially teach post-16 learners. Upon successful completion, you'll be qualified to teach at Secondary level, as well as Primary and A Level.

Qualification Requirements
An honours degree, normally at 2.2 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. If you do not hold a 2.2 or above, we may be able to consider your application but will require additional information. If you do not hold a degree in a relevant subject we will be able to consider your application if you have other qualifications, such as A Levels or postgraduate qualifications in the subject. GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade 4 (C) or above, or an equivalent qualification.
IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any component. TOEFL IBT: Reading - 20, Writing - 19, Listening - 19, Speaking - 22, Total - 80.
