Hispanic Studies is a compact yet energetic research department with robust ties to academic institutions across the USA, Latin America, Spain, and Portugal.
Graduate students can engage in diverse activities through the Graduate School of Arts and Humanities, becoming part of the vibrant postgraduate community in the School of Modern Languages and Cultures. This enables interdisciplinary collaboration with joint supervision. Our past postgraduate cohorts have included students from Chile, Europe, the USA, Brazil, and Mexico, and we enthusiastically encourage international applicants. With strong partnerships with Glasgow Life, along with the city's numerous museums, galleries, performance venues, festivals, and creative organizations, the University of Glasgow provides an exceptional setting for advanced arts study.
