Our expertise spans from the early Middle Ages to the late twentieth century, with special emphasis on British and European history, while also encompassing American, African, and Indian historical studies.

The History department operates across two locations: our Penryn Campus in Cornwall specializes in public history and environmental studies, while Exeter's Streatham Campus focuses on medieval studies, early modern socio-economic history, maritime history, contemporary British politics, and global medical histories.
