This research team focuses on advancing digital power electronics control for distributed energy systems, hybrid vehicles, and motor drives. Under Dr. Abusara's leadership, the group has successfully developed and tested various commercial solutions, including grid-tied inverters, microgrid systems, DC/DC converters for hybrid vehicles, and sensorless drives for high-speed magnetic machines.

A good undergraduate degree (in the UK, at least an upper second class honours) in a relevant subject
A taught Masters degree in a relevant subject
