Qualification Requirements
This programme will admit graduates primarily with physical sciences and engineering degrees. The EngD qualification at Dubai caters for potential candidates who are currently working in industry, or facilitate knowledge transfer from Heriot-Watt to industry with a new recruit. Where English was not the medium of instruction during previous education, applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5. Other qualifications may also be considered. TOEFL ibt overall score of 90 including reading 20, listening 19, speaking 21 and writing 23.
