Genetics leads the way in contemporary biology, fueling advancements in healthcare and bioengineering. With breakthroughs in genetic research and modification, we can now investigate gene-environment interactions like never before: spanning growth mechanisms to environmental influences on our DNA.

Our BSc Genetics program emphasizes practical applications across medical, biotech, and genomic fields. Genetic studies encompass inheritance patterns, DNA functionality, and the impacts of genetic diversity and evolutionary pressures.

You'll receive comprehensive training in genetics and genomics. Through elective courses, you can specialize in biomedical research, genomic science, or blend both disciplines. Additional module options explore diverse subjects like agricultural biotech, cellular regeneration, and microbial studies.

Growing ecological challenges worldwide are driving increased need for skilled biologists and genetic researchers.
Our alumni have pursued varied professional paths in scientific labs, advisory firms, corporate sectors, wildlife preservation, and ecological analysis. Some have entered marketing, media, and leadership roles, while others have furthered their qualifications through postgraduate or doctoral studies.
