This cutting-edge degree program focuses on molecular biology, genetic engineering, and biotechnology as its foundation.

Students will master the integration of expanding biochemistry and genetics disciplines to create groundbreaking medical therapies, including personalized gene-based treatments, while gaining insight into genetic regulation of cellular processes, human growth, and pathogen relationships.

From the first year onward, learners will acquire sophisticated laboratory techniques through hands-on training. Instruction comes from pioneering researchers in biochemistry and molecular biology who will equip graduates with essential competencies for diverse career paths - whether in laboratory science or fields valuing scientific expertise like data analysis, patent law, and education.

The curriculum offers flexibility through elective courses and research opportunities, allowing specialization in preferred subjects. After completing first-year studies, students may choose to continue with either the Biochemistry BSc (C700) or Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine BSc (C741) degree tracks.
