Key areas of study include: Moral philosophy, Religious philosophy, Continental philosophy (covering critical theory, phenomenology, and existentialism), Urban landscapes in modernist literature, Realist fiction of the Victorian era. International study opportunities. Your learning experience extends globally. We facilitate educational expansion through study abroad options at our partner institutions. The four-year degree variant includes a third year abroad or on an international placement, while maintaining the same structure as the three-year program. Full-year abroad participants benefit from reduced tuition fees, paying only 15% of the standard Essex rate, with no additional charges at the host university.
