This research group combines molecular and optical physics, exploring diverse applications ranging from computational materials physics to quantum ordering and soft matter physics.
Condensed matter physics shares significant connections with materials science, along with biological and earth sciences, while building upon advancements in statistical physics and innovative simulation techniques.
Our work focuses on investigating liquids, solids, and viscoelastic materials (including polymers and suspensions) that exhibit intermediate properties. We strive to identify and analyze these materials' behaviors through laboratory studies, interpreting them at the microscopic level.
In experimental work, we employ various techniques to examine structural properties and characterize optical, electrical, magnetic, mechanical, and other static/dynamic behaviors under both standard and extreme conditions.
