The Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences (CCBS) integrates laboratory and clinical research to investigate the origins, impacts, and therapies for significant neurological conditions.
With 58 Principal Investigators, including 19 Professors, the Centre boasts a clinical focus - 70% of its lead researchers are practicing NHS doctors.
CCBS supports around 55 postgraduate students through its Clinical Brain Sciences and Psychiatry programs, with exceptional PhD training opportunities for medical professionals.
While headquartered at Edinburgh BioQuarter adjacent to the Royal Infirmary, the Centre maintains additional facilities at three other hospital locations across Edinburgh.
