The Centre for Cardiovascular Science is dedicated to advancing and conducting research on the origins, impacts, and treatments of cardiovascular conditions.
Our postgraduate programs provide students with the chance to participate in globally recognized research initiatives focused on understanding cardiovascular system development, regulation, and related disorders. This research spans from foundational laboratory investigations to clinical trials.
Four British Heart Foundation-funded PhD positions will open in September 2023. These follow a 1+3 structure, beginning with a Cardiovascular Science Master's program featuring coursework and three lab rotations, followed by a three-year PhD. We seek enthusiastic applicants with research background and a keen interest in our Center's cardiovascular studies.
