The BEng in Engineering Management enhances your expertise in fundamental engineering disciplines while equipping you with essential research and business competencies valued by professional institutions like IMechE, IET, iED (Institution of Engineering Designers), and CSD (Chartered Society of Designers).
Complementing technical engineering coursework, the program incorporates the university's management expertise, preparing graduates to meet industry needs for engineers with leadership capabilities. Upon graduation, students will be ready to assume key technical and project management roles.
This distinctive program allows you to cultivate specialized expertise and analytical skills for careers as engineers, designers, or researchers in your chosen specialization. The BEng in Engineering helps students define their professional path and obtain relevant qualifications, with options to progress to MEng programs in Engineering Design, Engineering Management, or General Engineering.
The curriculum offers three specialized tracks that prepare graduates for diverse mechanical engineering-related industries. As potential Chartered Engineers (CEng) with IMechE, IET, or iED accreditation, career prospects span aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, process engineering, product design, and design engineering. Qualification Requirements

112 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification listed on the
UCAS tariff calculator, including:

A Levels in at least two subjects including Mathematics and Physics
BTEC Extended Diploma DMM in a relevant subject. Must include distinctions in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics
BTEC Diploma D*D* in an Engineering relevant subject. Must include Merits in Mathematics , Further Mathematics and Physics/Engineering
Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject
T Levels in a relevant subject
International Baccalaureate 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level and must include Mathematics and Physics at Higher Level
We also welcome applications from students who are taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator, and will assess the suitability, on a case by case basis.

In addition to one of the above, you should have:
GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English
GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics

IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking (or recognised equivalent).
