Danielle Jawando, who earned both her BA and MA with us, now writes for prominent television dramas, while emerging playwright Jonny O'Neill debuted on EastEnders in September 2014.
Jawando credits her achievements to the mentorship from UEL faculty. "I gained the courage to explore new creative directions and crucially, to submit my work," she reflects. This led to her Emmerdale writing consideration and publication of a short story during her studies. O'Neill's inaugural theatrical production, The Royal Duchess Superstore, premiered professionally in London.
