FACULTY EXPERTISE - Our distinguished researchers specialize in British, European, Global, and Transnational history. Key areas of expertise include: British History, Atlantic World Studies, European History (particularly France, Italy, Germany, Russia, the Balkans and Central Europe), Imperial and Cultural Diplomatic History, Middle Eastern Studies, Landscape and Environmental History, South Asian Studies (Japanese and Indian History), Local and Regional History, as well as Intellectual History and Political Thought.
STUDENT PROJECTS - Recent graduate research has explored diverse topics such as: Colonial New England's Land Perceptions, Soviet Children's Literature, Early Modern Norwich Politics, Late Victorian Era Women in Politics, Multiculturalism in Reunified Germany, and Post-War Bosnian Football Culture.
