This program offers you the opportunity to explore diverse academic interests. You'll develop skills to examine economic, political, and social issues through interdisciplinary lenses, employing economic theories, political science frameworks, and philosophical concepts to generate fresh perspectives. The curriculum covers fundamental economic principles while also delving into philosophical inquiries about knowledge, ethics, and liberty, alongside investigations into societal values like justice and community. The BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics with a placement year includes a 9-12 month professional experience during your third year, allowing you to acquire practical skills in your chosen field. While you'll need to independently secure your placement, our dedicated faculty and career advisors will guide you through the application process. Continuous support remains available during your placement and when you resume your final year of studies.
