European Politics forms the core of our focus, aligning with the research specialties of our faculty. The department oversees the publication of the academic journal European Politics and Society, with one of our staff members serving as editor.
The MA program enables students to combine Politics with various disciplines ranging from History to Geography, and from languages to Psychology, while prioritizing courses with a European focus. During Levels 3 and 4, students can concentrate their studies, including participation in the European Union Politics and Simulation module, which provides hands-on experience in modeling EU institutions through realistic scenarios.
Our department maintains a close-knit and welcoming environment while offering a broad selection of subjects with minimal required courses. Faculty members teach specialized topics in which they have demonstrated research expertise.
