The MSc in Biodiversity and Global Change offers foundational knowledge in the scientific principles crucial for addressing biodiversity loss, preparing future leaders in conservation. This program is jointly delivered with the Institute of Zoology, the Natural History Museum, and a consortium of partners. This unique collaboration unites top experts studying worldwide biodiversity shifts from diverse academic fields. Teaching methods include interactive seminars, lectures, assigned readings, plus hands-on data analysis and interpretation. Attendance at seminars hosted by UCL, the Natural History Museum, and the Institute of Zoology (Zoological Society of London) is compulsory. Students are evaluated through written assignments, project submissions, presentations, and practical exercises. The final research component includes both a dissertation and an oral defense.
