The MSc in Tissue Engineering for Regenerative Medicine equips students with biological, engineering, or medical backgrounds with specialized expertise and research capabilities for careers in this innovative field. You'll explore approaches to restore, replace, and regenerate diverse tissues and organs to address significant medical challenges, while examining current topics like stem cell applications, polymer science, biomaterial development/analysis, and gene therapy techniques. Qualification Requirements

We require an honours degree (minimum Upper Second) or overseas equivalent : biological sciences; medical sciences; biomedical materials; dentistry; veterinary medicine pharmacology. This course is also available for intercalating medical students, both from the University of Manchester and other UK universities. For intercalating MBChB students, we require satisfactory achievement in Years 1 to 4. You can fail, but you must pass the resit and progress through the course. There should be no failure in the year before intercalation. International students must demonstrate English proficiency through a secure and approved testing system. Specifically, we require a minimum of: IELTS : minimum 6.5 overall (6.0 or above in each component); TOEFL: 90 internet-based (with 20 or above in each component)
