The MSc in Audiological Science with Clinical Practice prepares students from diverse academic backgrounds to become professional audiologists. This intensive two-year course features an extensive clinical placement lasting approximately 11 months (minimum 900 hours), equipping graduates with essential theoretical knowledge, practical abilities, and clinical expertise for careers in audiology and hearing aid dispensing. The curriculum offers comprehensive exploration of hearing and balance systems, covering their anatomy, physiology, disorders, and diagnostic procedures.
Participants will develop proficiency in various adult hearing evaluations, hearing aid fitting, and auditory rehabilitation techniques. The program also trains students in specialized areas including balance disorders and pediatric hearing assessments. With its 11-month clinical training component, this two-year degree delivers fundamental knowledge, technical skills, and clinical capabilities required for professional practice as audiologists and/or hearing aid dispensers.

Qualification Requirements
A minimum of an upper second-class UK Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. Candidates who do not meet this requirement but have a minimum of five years relevant clinical experience may also be considered. Students will be expected to meet the requirements of the clinical placement's human resource department (including satisfactory health clearance and Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check). The English language level for this programme is: Level 4
