You'll learn at UCL's prestigious Queen Square Institute of Neurology and the Leonard Wolfson Experimental Neurology Centre (LWENC), located within London's National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN).

The MRes curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, covering the full spectrum of clinical research and early-stage neurological trials. You'll explore drug development, preclinical-to-clinical transitions, study methodologies, biomarkers, research ethics, statistical analysis, and the strategic use of cutting-edge technologies in medical research and clinical studies.

Qualification Requirements

A medical degree (MBBS) or a minimum of an upper second-class UK Bachelor's degree in life or biomedical sciences (for example, neuroscience, pharmacology or chemistry) or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. The English language level for this programme is: Level 1

UCL Pre-Master's and Pre-sessional English courses are for international students who are aiming to study for a postgraduate degree at UCL. The courses will develop your academic English and academic skills required to succeed at postgraduate level.
