Our goal is to explore the nervous system and different neurological conditions. You'll receive mentorship from specialists in areas including sensory systems, synaptic function, and the molecular/cellular basis of learning and memory. Your research will take place in the modern Neuroscience Center, employing diverse methods ranging from molecular biology to advanced imaging techniques. You can opt for either a PhD or MPhil program. These degrees vary in length and research scope - a PhD requires significant original contributions to your field, while an MPhil involves independent research at a more foundational level, culminating in a Master of Philosophy degree. There may be opportunities to transition from an MPhil to a PhD during your studies.
