The Department of Security and Crime Science is globally acknowledged for its influential research addressing real-world criminal challenges. Our MRes program enables students from diverse academic backgrounds to acquire essential research skills through our specialized courses, preparing them for successful MPhil/PhD studies. UCL's Security and Crime Science Department (SCS) employs evidence-based methods to address security threats, prevent criminal activity, and identify perpetrators.
