Earning a PhD requires investigating an approved research topic and defending your written dissertation in an oral examination. Your research must offer new insights to the field or creatively apply existing knowledge. The dissertation, limited to 80,000 words, should showcase thorough understanding and analytical engagement with the subject area.

We provide two research degree options: the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). While both programs are completed at BNU, Staffordshire University confers the degrees. As a research candidate, you'll be registered with Staffordshire University while also being enrolled at BNU, where we'll oversee your academic guidance and support.
