As one of five specialized research divisions within the Cancer Institute, the Pathology Department explores diverse fields including sarcoma genetics, thoracic oncology, computational cancer modeling, blood disorders, women's health pathology, digital imaging applications, and digestive system diseases.
Under faculty mentorship, you'll formulate original research questions and collaborate within established investigative teams. Each candidate receives personalized support through a dedicated supervision structure, featuring a primary advisor and thesis review panel.
Two exceptional resources further enhance your research experience. The Pathology Core Facility provides extensive tissue analysis and molecular biology services for UCL investigators, while specialized digital tools enable sophisticated processing and interpretation of cancer genomic datasets.
