The European Studies: Modern European Studies MA is a cross-disciplinary course examining unification, rival nation-states, political systems, and beyond. Based at UCL's Centre for Multidisciplinary and Intercultural Inquiry (CMII), you'll develop skills to pursue diverse professional opportunities. Participants select supplementary elective modules that may focus on national, regional, or pan-European perspectives. Instruction comes from globally renowned scholars from SELCS and CMII, where 83% of research was rated either 4 'world-leading' or 3 'internationally excellent' in the 2021 REF assessment.
