Our International Geography BSc integrates both physical and human geography, tackling pressing worldwide challenges such as climate change, migration, geopolitical conflicts, and urban expansion. Students gain from hands-on field excursions, diverse module selections, a forward-thinking curriculum informed by our globally renowned researchers, and the chance to study overseas at one of our partner universities. This program maintains the adaptability of our standard three-year BSc while adding an international study year. Both the Geography BA and BSc begin with shared foundational courses, establishing essential geographical knowledge. The first year includes five mandatory modules: two on Geographical Thinking, two on Field Geography, plus Understanding Our Planet. Students then choose three optional modules from our four offerings, or select two geography modules plus one from another department.
