This program offers the advantage of learning at Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC), known for its interdisciplinary approach. You'll explore a wide variety of courses designed and taught by distinguished scholars who are pioneers in human, environmental, and political geography, development studies, anthropology, political economy, and science and technology research.
First-year courses provide a comprehensive overview of fundamental human geography concepts while building analytical skills specific to the field. Alongside your core Human Geography curriculum, you can select two additional subjects during your first year. This flexibility allows you to investigate complementary disciplines within LEC, delve into social sciences like Sociology or Politics, or develop practical skills in areas such as Economics or Marketing.
