For those passionate about language acquisition and fascinated by linguistic parallels and contrasts, this program allows you to combine Russian with another Eastern European language in a major-minor structure. Your options for the minor language (comprising 25% of your coursework) include Bulgarian, Czech, Finnish, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, SerbianCroatian, or Ukrainian. All students must complete mandatory Russian language courses during their first, second, and fourth years.
The third year involves overseas study, providing complete cultural and linguistic immersion.
