Our degree program in Polish and Serbo-Croatian provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of modules covering literature, linguistic studies, historical contexts, sociological approaches, philosophical thought, artistic expressions, cinematic studies, and various cultural aspects tied to their chosen language(s). During the first, second, and final academic years, participants will engage with language instruction in their selected tongues alongside complementary cultural studies. The curriculum also includes interdisciplinary modules examining literary works, films, linguistic structures, and historical developments.
The third year involves international study, divided between two nations where the target languages are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency levels, whether beginning as complete beginners or with prior language experience.
