Our degree program in Hungarian and Portuguese provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and intercultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to their chosen language(s). During the first, second, and final years, participants will enroll in language courses for their selected tongues alongside related cultural studies. The curriculum also incorporates interdisciplinary modules from SELCS and SSEES, covering literary studies, cinematography, language science, and historical analysis.
The third academic year involves overseas study, divided between two nations where the target languages are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency levels, irrespective of whether they begin as complete beginners or with prior language experience.
