Our degree program in German and Portuguese provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of modules spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects related to their chosen languages. During the first, second, and final years, participants will engage in German and Portuguese language courses alongside cultural studies that explore diverse subjects through literature, film, historical contexts, and linguistic analysis.
The third year involves international study, divided between two countries where German and Portuguese are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency, whether beginning a new language or building upon existing knowledge.
