Our combined French and Ukrainian program provides extensive opportunities to explore comparative and intercultural humanities studies. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and other cultural aspects tied to their chosen languages. During the first, second, and final years, participants will engage in language instruction for their selected tongues alongside complementary cultural studies. The curriculum also incorporates interdisciplinary courses from SELCS and SSEES, covering literary works, cinematography, language science, and historical studies.
The third year involves international study abroad. All students attain equivalent language proficiency levels, whether beginning as complete beginners or with prior language experience.
