Our combined Dutch and Portuguese program provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, historical contexts, social sciences, philosophical traditions, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects related to their chosen languages. The third year involves international study, divided between two nations where Dutch and Portuguese are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency, whether beginning as complete beginners or with prior experience.
Throughout this four-year journey, learners will enhance their mastery of Dutch and Portuguese while simultaneously building crucial competencies in cultural understanding and analytical reasoning.
