Our combined degree in Danish and Portuguese provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of modules spanning literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and other cultural aspects related to the Danish and Portuguese languages they'll master. During the first, second, and final years, learners will undertake language courses in both Danish and Portuguese, alongside cultural studies exploring interdisciplinary themes through literature, film, history, and linguistics.
The third year involves international study, divided between Danish- and Portuguese-speaking regions. Options include university exchange programs or authorized work placements. All students attain equivalent language proficiency, whether beginning as novices or with prior language experience.
