Our Czech and Yiddish studies program provides extensive opportunities to cultivate thorough, cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic heritage, historical studies, social sciences, philosophical thought, artistic expression, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to the languages they'll master. During the first, second, and final academic years, participants will enroll in language courses for their selected tongues alongside complementary cultural studies. The curriculum also incorporates interdisciplinary modules from SELCS and SSEES, examining literary works, cinematography, language science, and historical contexts through multiple academic lenses.
