Our degree program in Czech and Spanish provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of modules covering literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and various cultural aspects tied to their chosen language(s). During the first, second, and final years, participants will enroll in language courses for their selected tongues alongside related cultural studies. Additionally, they may opt for interdisciplinary modules from the School of European Languages, Culture and Society (SELCS), exploring connections between literature, film, linguistics, and history.
The third year involves studying abroad in two nations where the target languages are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency levels, whether beginning a new language or continuing prior studies.
