This Czech and Danish degree program provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in humanities studies. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic heritage, historical studies, social sciences, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and other cultural aspects tied to their chosen language(s). During the first, second, and final years, participants will engage in language instruction for their selected tongues alongside complementary cultural studies. The curriculum also incorporates interdisciplinary courses from SELCS and SSEES, covering literary analysis, cinematography, language science, and historical examination.
The third academic year involves international study, divided between two nations where the target languages are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency, whether beginning as complete beginners or with prior linguistic experience.
