This program requires prior language study in one or two languages. We'll carefully assess your progress to ensure you're prepared for both the overseas placement and completing a postgraduate degree in four years.

Begin your studies at Lancaster with courses like advanced grammar and translation, then spend your second year at a European university. Our partner institutions in France, Germany, and Spain are well-versed in this program and ensure you complete all essential second-year coursework abroad. For dual language students, the year will be divided between two countries.
