Our research-focused MSc in Health Psychology offers comprehensive training in health psychology theories, methodologies, and statistical analysis. This program equips you with the essential competencies for Stage 1 health psychology certification while preparing you for advanced Stage 2 doctoral training - the pathway to becoming a chartered psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Throughout the course, you'll acquire the expertise to conduct independent health psychology research projects.

The journey to becoming a Health Psychologist involves two key phases. Completing the MSc Health Psychology (Stage 1) qualifies you to pursue Stage 2 training. Achieving both stages makes you eligible for: a) Chartered Psychologist status with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and b) HCPC registration as a qualified Health Psychologist.
