The Department of Psychology provides PhD funding for 3-3.5 years and 1-year Master's research programs (available full-time or part-time). These advanced degrees allow students to explore cutting-edge questions in psychological science.

If a non-native English speaker, evidence of English language ability As a guide, you’ll usually need at least a 2:1 honours degree or its equivalent. We evaluate these using the written application as well as interview (by Skype if necessary). The minimum criteria are a 2(i) at undergraduate level or Masters qualification in a relevant subject and (in applicants who do not have English as a first language) an IELTS score of 7 with no element below 6.5.
