Expand your expertise in mental health care with a global outlook on a challenge impacting one in four individuals at some point in their lives. Mental health conditions touch people across all backgrounds, creating ripple effects for individuals, families, and society as a whole.
Whether you're approaching mental health care personally, professionally, or academically, our MSc Mental Health program offers a dynamic platform to examine these issues through fresh, interactive approaches.
This postgraduate program is available through distance learning or at our Chelmsford campus. ARU's flexible study options accommodate your lifestyle, offering full-time or part-time study modes tailored to diverse learning preferences. As an MSc Mental Health student at ARU, you'll start each module with an interactive workshop to connect with peers and faculty, followed by distance learning components.
The curriculum deepens your understanding of specialized care approaches for serious mental health conditions. You'll investigate professional specialties including youth mental health services, dementia support, and mood disorder management.
While you'll explore cutting-edge research and leadership in mental health care, please note this program doesn't qualify you as a mental health nurse. For nursing qualifications, consider our BSc (Hons) Mental Health Nursing degree.
