This program provides both theoretical foundations and hands-on training in psychological research methods, expanding upon the competencies developed during undergraduate studies. It integrates instructional skill-building components, specialized topic modules, a research apprenticeship, and a thesis project. With its broad psychological focus, students enjoy the freedom to select from diverse modules and pursue investigations aligned with their personal academic interests.
From the program's outset, students gain direct laboratory experience working alongside active researchers. Faculty matching occurs based on each student's research focus, ensuring meaningful mentorship. This consistent faculty interaction proves particularly beneficial for those contemplating doctoral-level continuation.
Participants will additionally develop and execute a significant research initiative under the guidance of academic supervisors. The curriculum includes opportunities to showcase research outcomes through multiple formats including written reports, oral presentations, and academic posters.
State-of-the-art research facilities remain available throughout the program, enabling studies involving eye-tracking for attention measurement, brain activity monitoring, as well as survey administration and behavioral observation.
Our department maintains an intimate, supportive environment where personalized attention ensures each student receives tailored guidance during their academic journey.
