In today's unpredictable and fast-evolving world, understanding the causes and methods of warfare has become increasingly crucial. The University of Buckingham offers a prestigious Master's program in Modern War Studies and Contemporary Military History, hosted in London. This intensive one-year program (or two years part-time) begins each October with an Orientation Day, followed by Research Skills workshops, and concludes with students submitting a dissertation after guided research. Participants have the opportunity to attend evening seminars at the Army and Navy Club in Pall Mall, featuring leading experts in the field, as well as a special research day at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. These sessions explore diverse historical topics and contemporary defense challenges across all operational domains.
