The CertHE Medical Sciences Pre-Med (9-month program) is a distinctive course offered at the Crewe campus, granting successful participants a Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) in Medical Sciences. This Pre-Med pathway is designed for aspiring students looking to strengthen their applications for medical or dental schools while also completing the initial phase of our accelerated 2-year BSc (Hons.) degree program.

Biomedical science explores the functioning of cells, organs, and metabolic systems within the human body. By gaining insights into health and disease mechanisms, researchers can innovate or refine treatments and therapies, making this an engaging and rapidly evolving area of study.

Key advantages
Essential modules are delivered with a clinical focus, equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience to smoothly transition into medical or dental education.
Our instructional approach emphasizes student-centered learning, prioritizing small-group tutorials and workshops over traditional large-scale lecture formats.
Participants who attain a minimum 70% grade in the 9-month Pre-Med program qualify to apply for The University of Buckingham's MB ChB Selection Process.
A prerequisite for the Pre-Med application is successfully passing an MMI (Multiple Mini Interview). Completing this requirement before enrollment simplifies and accelerates your subsequent MB ChB application.
