If you're considering a career in healthcare or a related field, Medical Sciences might be the perfect fit for you.
Your studies will include three required courses: Medical Sciences 1 plus two courses focusing on medical biology and molecular/cellular biology. Additionally, you'll need to complete at least one biological chemistry course. You'll select remaining courses from various biomedical and non-biomedical electives. Medical Sciences 1 establishes the program's distinctive character by presenting diverse disciplines that combine to enhance our knowledge of health and disease. You'll broaden your understanding of fundamental biomedical sciences while cultivating an integrated perspective on the scientific foundations of medical practice. The curriculum includes three mandatory courses: Anatomy and Pathology 2, Biomedical Sciences 2, and Microorganisms, Infection and Immunity 2, complemented by electives from biomedical, biological, or other university departments. Anatomy and Pathology 2 offers a specialized approach to human body structure and function across different organizational levels, while reinforcing essential healthcare concepts central to the program.
