With a distinguished track record in teacher education, we hold an 'outstanding' Ofsted rating. Our intensive one-year course covers various secondary subjects, culminating in a PGCE and QTS certification that qualifies you to teach students aged 11-19. Participants can also earn up to 60 master's-level credits applicable toward an MSc in Education.
Collaborating with over 60 partner schools, we provide two flexible pathways into teaching - university-led and School Direct - catering to individual preferences. Our cutting-edge programs reflect both contemporary educational research and practical classroom innovations.
Trainees dedicate two-thirds of their time to placements across multiple school environments, including a unique primary school experience and optional special education exposure. The remaining period involves university-based learning within our vibrant academic community.
