As a PhD candidate in Medicines Optimization or Pharmacy at the University of Brighton, you'll become part of our dedicated Medicines Optimization Research and Enterprise Group.
We guide students through both medical and pharmaceutical studies focusing on medication delivery systems, as well as investigations into education and support for proper medication usage.
You'll collaborate with our medicines optimization research team to advance three key objectives for enhancing medication safety and effectiveness:
Medicinal science: cutting-edge research employing fundamental scientific approaches to expand our knowledge of pharmaceuticals. Specialized research areas encompass: pharmacokinetics, pharmacology and microbiology, drug formulation, clinical bioanalysis, pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics.
Clinical medication application: pioneering research exploring human behavior and psychology in health contexts. Key research domains include: behavioral medicine, health psychology, and pediatric care.
