The Physician Associate MSc program is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of UK-trained PAs, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, midwives, and paramedics. You'll be taught by the same professionals you'll collaborate with in your future career. The program provides comprehensive training in taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, ordering and analyzing tests, making diagnoses, and creating treatment plans.
Our integrated curriculum thoroughly prepares graduates for the PA Registration Assessment (PARA), featuring extensive clinical placements and simulation training across local and regional healthcare settings.
Since its launch in 2016, with the first cohort graduating in 2018, our program has maintained a perfect pass rate on the national PA exam. Student experience drives our teaching approach, fostering open communication throughout the two-year journey. While demanding, the program offers exceptional professional rewards.
Duration: 2 years full-time
Open to: UK and international applicants
Location: Shared between University of Brighton and University of Sussex Falmer campuses. Clinical placements include weekly GP sessions in Year 1 and full-time placements in Year 2 across local trusts and general practices.
