Our MSc Physician Associate program delivers crucial training for launching a rewarding career in healthcare.

This program is ideal for life science graduates or individuals with substantial healthcare background.
You'll benefit from classroom instruction and diverse teaching approaches. Through workplace learning in NHS Primary and Secondary Care settings, you'll hone your professional skills in real-world environments. All course content is developed in collaboration with active clinicians. The program exceeds national clinical hour requirements by over 100 hours, offering approximately 350 clinical placement hours in the first year and 1,350 in the second.
Our faculty includes working physician associates and medical professionals who provide both clinical guidance and practical NHS workplace insights. During placements, you'll frequently meet our alumni who now work with our partner healthcare providers.

Qualification Requirements
Normally a good undergraduate honours degree (2.1 or above), in a relevant life sciences subject, for example, biological sciences, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, pharmacy or psychology. A good lower second-class honours degree (2.2) combined with other relevant practical healthcare skills and experience (or qualifications and experience considered to be equivalent to the above) will also be considered.
